Why choose Woef Woef wet food?

Supermarket food can be labelled 'with chicken' when it contains as little as 4% chicken. Our wet food contains 96% chicken, 96% duck or 95% venison. No unnecessary fillers and no rubbish.

Is our wet food suitable for dogs with allergies?

Yes, our wet food is suitable for many dogs with a food allergy. It is single-protein (one animal protein source) and has a hypoallergenic recipe, with no grains or unnecessary additives. This reduces the chance of problems such as itching or digestive upsets. In short: extremely pure wet food.

From what age is the wet food suitable?

Our wet food is a complete meal for dogs from 8 months, from small to large breeds. You can serve it as a main meal or mix it with kibble; just adjust the amount if you do.

Why is a high meat content so important?

Dogs are natural meat eaters and get their most important nutrients from animal proteins. A high meat content means more high-quality protein, which contributes to strong muscles, a healthy coat and plenty of energy. It also leaves no room for cheap fillers. A lot of supermarket food contains just 4% of the animal the tin is named after; the rest often consists of fillers such as grains.

Why is production in Europe important?

In Europe, strict rules on quality and safety apply to pet food. Producers are inspected and have to meet fixed standards. That means more reliability and more clarity about what is really in the food. Woef Woef's wet food holds the IFS Food and TÜV certificates.

What does hypoallergenic actually mean?

Hypoallergenic means the food is formulated to keep the chance of an allergic reaction as small as possible. It contains one animal protein source and no unnecessary additions such as grains or artificial substances. That makes it suitable for dogs with a sensitive stomach or a food allergy. Please note: 'hypoallergenic' is increasingly used as a marketing term, so it is far from always true wherever it appears on the label. At Woef Woef it really does mean: one animal protein source, no grains and no artificial additives.

What does single-protein mean and why is it better for my dog?

Single-protein means the food contains just one animal protein source, such as 96% chicken, 96% duck or 95% venison. Many dogs find this easy to digest, and it can reduce the risk of allergic reactions or food intolerances. Because you know exactly which protein source your dog is getting, it is a pure, transparent and conscious choice.
